Celebrate Your Achievements with Your Network

Daily habits to build the career of your dreams #7/7: note 1 thing you achieved at the end of the day, something you're proud of.

Do you share your achievements with your network?

Celebrating your achievements, no matter how small, is a great habit to maintain a positive mindset, boost your self confidence, and keep you energised and motivated long term. It's a great way to connect with your professional network, build your credibility and strengthen relationships!

We find a lot of people don't consider their achievements until they're updating their resume for a new job. This means it might have been years since the last update, and many important tasks can be missed. People can tend to forget their best accomplishments! Even if these are remembered, going back years later to get specific details on what was delivered can be tricky.

Keep ahead of this by taking 5 minutes each day to reflect on your progress, and note your accomplishments. Then, whenever a significant milestone is reached, share it with your network, thank contributors and celebrate!

Share your achievements with your network

People want to hear about your success through your networks such as LinkedIn. It's a good idea to update your LinkedIn profile every 6-12 months, refreshing your goals and noting your achievements.

This is also a great time to ask for LinkedIn recommendations from relevant people involved.
